My name is Lacey and this is my daughter, Zoey. I have been coming to PCC Corner of Hope for about five months–when I was pregnant with Zoey. Now I am learning how to care for her through their parenting classes. PCC Corner of Hope is also helping me with the necessary supplies and clothing I need for Zoey. I was even able to get a baby swing which she loves.
I would recommend PCC Corner of Hope to others because they have really helped me. They give me a reason to get out of the house and come and talk to women who understand what I am going through as I raise my little girl on my own.
I have been coming to PCC Corner of Hope for three years. I first came here when I was pregnant with my son, Carson. While I was pregnant I learned about pregnancy and enjoyed my weekly visit with my advocate. The Center helped me with diapers and wipes which was very especially helpful since my son was allergic to all diapers except Pampers. The Center made sure to always have Pampers diapers and sensitive wipes when I came in. I was also able to get a Pack n Play, a stroller and clothing for my son.
The volunteers and staff have been very helpful as they listened to my concerns and answered my questions. I was happy to learn 1-2-3 Magic, a program that helps me to teach my son discipline. If you are a single mom, this is a great place to get help.
