Unplanned Pregnancy

I think I'm prengant, what are my options?

Pregnancy can be overwhelming, especially if you weren’t planning for it. What’s most important is that you first find out for sure if you are pregnant and if it’s a viable pregnancy. From there, you need to take a breath, and then explore your options thoroughly to be able to make the most informed and confident decision, for you and the child.

You don’t have to face the unplanned and unknown alone. We are here to help you!  We provide free pregnancy tests, diagnostic ultrasounds*, information on your options, and a listening ear. You will have three pregnancy options to choose from and talk over with your personal mentor:

  • Abortion
  • Adoption
  • Parenting

Did you take a test at home, found out it is positive, and just need some time to process? You can come in to meet with one of our compassionate client advocates who will listen without judgement.  Together you can map out the best decision based on what’s important to you.

You have a support system here. The volunteers and staff at PCC Corner of Hope give you a hand to hold, a shoulder to lean on, and the guidance you’re searching for.

*Ultrasounds are currently on hold. We can give a referral when needed.

Pregnancy FAQs

Symptoms can vary from person to person, but may include:

  • Fatigue
  • Bloating
  • Mood Swings
  • Missed Period
  • Frequent Urination
  • Spotting and cramping
  • Nausea (Morning Sickness)
  • Swollen, sore, or tingly breasts

Your hCG levels are what make a test “pop positive” for pregnancy and most tests can be taken the first day after a missed period.

The earliest ultrasounds are usually done around the 6-8 week mark, but some will be done as early as 5 weeks 5 days.

We at PCC Corner of Hope follow HIPPA guidelines and will not share your personal health information unless it falls into one of the mandated reporting categories.

PCC Corner of Hope does not preform or refer for abortions. We will educate you on the types of abortion based on how far along you are, as well as the risks and complications that can arise. We will gladly give you a pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy, then an ultrasound to confirm the positive pregnancy is viable if needed.
