After abortion

After Abortion Support

Are you someone who has had an abortion? Maybe you were part of the decision making process? Or drove someone to their appointment for an abortion? Whether it was yesterday or several decades ago, you may still have trouble coping with different emotions that have come from that experience.

If you feel like you experiencing any post-abortion side affects where your mental/emotional health is concerned, PCC Corner of Hope is here for you. We have a professional counselor who we can schedule you with to help you work through whatever hurt you may be experiencing.

You have a support system here. The volunteers and staff at PCC Corner of Hope give you a hand to hold, a shoulder to lean on, and the guidance you’re searching for.

We understand that unplanned pregnancies cause stress in many relationships. You need support from those around you, and sometimes that’s hard to find. That’s why we offer a variety of free classes that can help improve your relationship with your partner and your family and even help you through the first few years of parenting.

Most people do not give a second thought to fathers who have gone through either losing their child to abortion where he was not allowed to have a say or even if he did help make the decision. Men are human too with emotions just like women and can regret having a part in the abortion process or may feel helpless after not being able to stop it from happening. We are here for you either way and would love to have the opportunity to help you process what you are going through.

Symptoms will vary from person to person, but can include:

  • Intense anger
  • Mistrust of women
  • Addictive behaviors
  • Cycles of depression
